Initial ideas (Mind Maps)
In this post, I will discuss the Initial sketches (Mind Maps) I created for my project.
I drew my favourite house style for the first four images, a standard modern house that captures the minimalist style. There are multiple drawings of the style of house and each one is a different size or design. I ensure the house designs are big enough to fit the requirements of my project brief. After drawing multiple designs, I went on to draw the houses side by side. Since the design is for a large neighbourhood, I wanted to see how it would look arranged side by side, just like in any neighbourhood. I also designed the house to be simple enough to be pre-fabricated since it will be mass-produced for a new town. There are also different roof designs for the house, such as coned and sphere roofs. However, being a prefabricated house with a slanted roof will be challenging.
For the next Image, I wanted to try a different route for designing houses. In this sketch, I drew houses that incorporate a slanted roof. The first house (on the left) is a typical square house with a slanted roof. I wanted to see what it looked like at first and imagine how it would look with different designs. Then, for the second sketch (on the right), the slanted roof of the house starts from the foundation of the house. I found this design fascinating since it is small and compact. However, with this design, the amount of space can be limited. I will continue researching this particular design during my study time. I can incorporate it into the standard modern house design if it is not achievable.
For the last image, the design of this house is based on a 3D Geometrical Cube. The first house which is on the left which is based on the cube. With this design, it is more unique and complex to execute. However, it can be prefabricated. Stacking multiple cubes on top of each other can make the shape of the design. This particular design is difficult but it is not impossible. Out of the three design I have made so far, I only have a very vague understanding on how to carry out this design. I will continue my research and development for this design during my free time and I might use this design for future projects.

Good that you have posted these, but would like to see better quality images and more consideration for the idea - it really isn't that clear from the text or the images about the direction you are going in.
