3D Outcome and process shots
In this post, I will share my 3D model outcome and the process of creating it.
As seen in Fig.1, This is the final 3D outcome of my project. I have used pulpboard and acrylic board for this 3D model. Both boards are 3mm thick and are cut using a laser cutter. First, I used the exact measurements that I mentioned in my post (2D Development and outcome) and created a digital template in a software called AutoCad 2025. This is then sent to the laser cutter machine at our university workshop for cutting. The cut templates were then glued using adhesive glue to combine all the pieces, including the first floor's acrylic window. Using the laser cutter saves me time in creating the 3D model so that I can work more on my blogs and websites. The hardest part was to learn how to use the Autocad 2025 software; however, it was very simple once I had done a few practice templates. Then, I added plastic trees that I bought at my university art store and placed the trees at the edges of the house and grass for the backyard. For the base of the house, I used pulpboard again with the measurements 30cm x 30 cm. This acts as a solid base for the house and the added decorations.
Below are some process shots of creating the 3D outcome and different perspectives of my 3D outcome.

What was your plan for this model? Would be good to have more context for this - this is the first time you have shown what you are doing for the 3D element of this project and it is your final outcome/process.
ReplyDeleteRemember the list of posts that should be included on your blog. This was the minimum you should post. You require more than the minimum as you need to achieve a much higher mark than you did last term. Therefore, please review what you have done so far and consider what you can add - think about development of your ideas, show more sketches/notes and a clearer journey through your blog.
