Project Plan Update

In this post, I will update my project according to what I have done so far and what I will do for the rest of the term before the deadline.

Major Project Plan

Above is my project plan at the start of the term. I have followed this plan accordingly. My updated project plan is below.

Week one 

• - Reading Introduction to the module/module handbook and assessment (DONE)

• - Consider briefs that you will carry out for your assignment. (DONE)

• - Start exploring ideas for brief (DONE)

Week two 

• - Develop Ideas and explore different possibilities for project tutorials (DONE)

• - Work on this outline and project plan in preparation for pre-project tutorials next week  (DONE)

• - create 2 concept sketches on two different designs (DONE)

 

Geometric shaped House (DONE)

• - create a concept sketch on a geometric house design (DONE)

Slanted roof House  (DONE)

• - create a slanted roof house concept sketch  (DONE)

Week three 

• - Pre-project tutorials (DONE)

• - Initial research  (DONE)

• - Pick which design is suitable  (DONE)

• - Decide on which design is suitable for the project (Discuss with the tutor)  (DONE)

Week four 

• - Further Research  (DONE)

• - One Research Post Completed by the beginning of week five (DONE)

• - Research on artist who created a similar or related design as for your idea (Peter Zumthor)  (DONE)

• - Research on Eco materials suitable for the target audience  (DONE)

Week Five 

• - 2D development of work (DONE)

• - At least 3 designs to be developed or completed by the beginning of Week Six (DONE)

• - Create more concept design of the chosen design  (DONE)

• - MINIMUM of 9 rooms (kitchen,dining room, living room, utility room, 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & 1-on suite)  (DONE)

• -MUST contains front/back yard, garage/driveway  (DONE)

• - Create a site plan of the project  (DONE)

• - Create multiple sketches of the house design (digital or hand-drawn) (DONE)

Week six 

• - 3D development of outcomes for final portfolio (DONE)

• - Tutorials throughout the week (DONE)

• - Plan out what suitable materials to use for the 3D Outcome  (DONE)

• - Create the 3D outcome  (DONE)

• -Sourcing materials (DONE)

Week seven 

• - Create the 3D outcome (DONE)

Week eight 

• - Finish the 3D Outcome (DONE)

• - Take photographs of the 3D Outcome/Scan 2D outcomes  (DONE)

• - Smart features  (DONE)

Week nine 

• - Finalise Design Boards/Project (In progress)

• - Website Updates (In progress)

• - Work on the website  (In progress)

Week ten 

• - Assessment submission deadline (05/06/24)
