Target audience

 In this post, I will write about my targeted audience for my project.

As for this project, the main target audience will be family households. As seen in Fig.1, a study has been conducted on the family household and children in Cromwell Town, Connecticut. Firstly, the study shows that the number of children under 18 is 19.2% in Cromwell town (United et al. Bureau, 2021). This gives me the initiative to create enough space for the houses in the new Cromwell neighbourhood. I ensure the living room, bedrooms, and backyard have suitable space for the children to be comfortable and enjoy their youth inside the house. The home will also have an open-concept hallway at the house's entrance, which gives the children a comfortable environment after a long day of school.

Turning our attention to the adults, the average family size in Cromwell Town is 2.93, indicating that families in Cromwell Town are relatively small (United et al. Bureau, 2021). However, I am committed to designing the house to be spacious, ensuring that families will not have to worry if they want to expand their families. On the contrary, the extra space, such as an additional bedroom, will allow the family to accommodate guests, such as their grandparents, fostering a sense of community and family ties.

I aim to design the inside of the house with enough space to meet the needs of various family types, without burdening the cost of the house. For instance, the design of the house will also be suitable for newlyweds in Cromwell Town, providing enough space to start a family. It will also cater to individuals who are not yet married and those who have just entered adulthood by living on their own. As the study in Fig. 3 shows, many people still need to be married (United et al. Bureau, 2021). I am committed to designing a house suitable for everyone in Cromwell Town.
